CIT & Leadership Programs - Another Step Forward

The 2013 class of Manitou CITs did a wonderful job representing themselves, and Manitou, in their various leadership and service endeavors during 2013; including the Giffords Challenge. The Leadership development program actually began before the summer – at a teen leadership conference in NYC, conducted by the American Camp Association. All CITs (and Junior Counselors) are once again invited to the Leadership Conference on April 27, 2014.

For 2014, all CITs will be offered certification courses for American Red Cross First Aid and CPR. These certifications courses will be done at camp.

The 2014 CIT service project is being discussed and will be announced in the spring.

Manitou is thrilled to have a wonderful group of CITs and Junior Counselors for the 2014 summer!
