Manitou Teens Attend Leadership Conference

Camp and Leadership education go hand in hand.

Dave, Derek, Sara and JD spend a week each year attending a very inspiring and educational camp conference for camp professionals.

Through the American Camp Association, Manitou is now able to offer our teens a similar opportunity and take part in a new Leadership Training conference in New York City each spring.

The event provides teens with leadership skills they can use at school and in their community, as well as camp skills you can use throughout the summer. The conference helps reevaluate, and articulate, camp as the life changing experience it truly is. The conference is also a nice addition to the resume!

We are thrilled that several campers attended this year and hope many more will take advantage of it next spring.
